        The way we found Jazper is actually pretty easy compared to the way we found the other Three. In March after realizing that Oscar was going to get a little to big to use him as a sire for Jessica & Shyanne. On Monday March 10 I got on line and started looking for a small male Boston. After contacting a few folks I noticed an ad in the Toledo Blade. I called the lady that had placed the ad. She stated that she had already sold the one I was calling about and then said that her daughter had just had a litter of pups the day before. I phoned her daughter and she confirmed what her mother had said and that she had Two Males, but one was already spoken for. I ask about the Sire and Dam of the pups. After hearing about them I ask her to send me pictures of the pups. Two days later I received them via e-mail. I call her back that evening and ask her how she did business. She explained how she did things and We sent her a check for the deposit. Still not knowing which pup would be ours.
        On Tuesday March 23 we drove up to Toledo to look personally at the pups. they indeed were very small and both had good markings. We were both satisfied that we made a good decision about getting one of them. Now all that was left to do was wait until they were weaned and with until the other folks decided which pup they were going to pick so we would know which one was going to be ours.

        On Saturday April 10 I e-mail the lady with the pup to set up a time for a week from that following Sunday to pick up the puppy and to find out which one was going to be ours. She e-mail me back letting us know which one was ours and to call her later the following week to set up the time to pick up the puppy. We phoned her a week later on Saturday April 17 to set up a time for the following day. She explained that she would not be available that Sunday and wanted to hold onto them for a couple of extra days to be positive that they were completely weaned. So we set up the time and day to be Tuesday April 20, 2004 at 3:30 in the afternoon.
        On Tuesday April 20 we set out for Toledo to pick up our new puppy. Until we make a final decision on his name we are calling him Jazper.
        Well now it's Friday April 23 and Jasper is doing very well and he's a fireball. He loves playing with our other Three Boston's although they're not quite sure what or how to play with him yet. Shyanne is doing her usual pouting like when we got Oscar. I think she gets her feelings hurt or something or maybe she knows that every dog we get takes a little bit away from her personal time with us. Shyanne is a people dog. She would rather be around us than the other dogs. However Shyanne does play a little bit with him. Funny part is when Jasper wants to lay down and take a nap he wants to cuddle up to Shyanne (maybe because she resembles his mother the most), but Shyanne won't lay beside Jasper. When Jasper lies down beside Shyanne. Shyanne will get up and go somewhere else every time. Jessica is probably the best with Jasper. She plays with him just like he's always been there. But until he's a little bit bigger we have to keep an eye on her. Jessica forgets he's just a puppy and once in a while starts playing just a little bit to rough with him. We are not going to register Jasper until we're absolutely positive that he will remain small. But we believe Jasper is going to be a great permanent family addition and member.
